Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Washington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work generally includes approximately 10,850 linear feet of CIPP manhole to manhole lining of existing sanitary sewers, reinstatement of sanitary sewer laterals, and all necessary labor, materials and appurtenances for said construction. All bidders are required to purchase the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit from the specified provider. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Authority and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Authority to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if awarded. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes or ordinances. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act and, for contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
