Sealed bids are requested for public works materials, in-place Bituminous Seal Coat, and gasoline/diesel fuel for South Strabane Township. The required materials and quantities are: AASHTO #1 (limestone) 200 tons, AASHTO #57 (limestone) 200 tons, PA-DOT 2A SUBBASE (limestone) 1,000 tons, 9.5 mm SUPERPAVE WEARING COURSE 1,500 tons, 19 mm SUPERPAVE WEARING COURSE 1,000 tons, 25 mm BINDER COURSE 200 tons, R4 RIP RAP (limestone) 200 tons, R6 RIP RAP (limestone) 200 tons, Bituminous seal coat (single application in-place) 44,527 sq. yds. using CRS-2 oil (formerly E-3 oil) and 1.0% Washed No. 8 course aggregate, Regular Gasoline 16,000 gallons (pump price), On-road Diesel Fuel 14,000 gallons (delivered), DEF Fluid 1,000 gallons (delivered). Bids must be on forms provided by the Township and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to "South Strabane Township." Bidders on regular gasoline (pump price) must be on the PA State Wex Fleet Card Program. The Township reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. All bid documents are available at the front counter of the Municipal Building and online at southstrabane.com.
