**As of February 06, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on February 17, 2026.** Bids will be received for all renovation work at Founders Elementary School, Huntley Middle School, and DeKalb High School. Contractors are required to survey the existing conditions prior to bidding. Bidding documents are available from the office of the Architect and can be downloaded online. Bidders may secure up to two sets of bidding documents by submitting a non-refundable check. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate on forms issued by the Architect and must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 10% of the total amount of the base bid and all additive alternate bids. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the Owner and furnish a performance and payment bond for the full amount of the contract. Each craft, type of worker, and mechanic needed to execute the contract shall be paid the prevailing wage rate. All costs associated with the bond must be included in the bid amount. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
