Renovation of an educational facility in Dekalb, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project No: 25-051 Bids will be received for all Renovation Work for the Boiler Replacement Project at Huntley Middle School for DeKalb CUSD #428. Bidders are required to survey the existing conditions prior to bidding. Bidding documents are available for reference at designated locations and may be secured from the architect. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate on forms issued by the architect. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 10% of the total amount of the base bid and all additive alternate bids, as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the work, will enter into a contract and furnish the required performance and payment bond. A performance and payment bond for the full amount of the contract will be required. Each worker needed to execute the contract shall be paid the prevailing wage rate for the locality in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or reject any or all bids when, in the opinion of the owner, such action will serve the best interests of the owner. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without written consent of the owner.
