The scope of work includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks and specifications that have established unit prices. It is placed with the Contractor for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition and construction of infrastructure, buildings, structures, or other real property. Work is awarded by issuance of a purchase order against the JOC. Under the JOC concept, the Contractor furnishes all management, documentation, labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work. The term of the contract will be for 12 months or the point at which the maximum value of the contract is reached, whichever occurs first. The University reserves the right to award up to two (2) Job Order Contracts from this bid (PW2508) to the two (2) lowest responsive bidders. Bid Security in the amount of $25,000 in the form specified in the bid documents is required (CSU General Conditions 2.05.III.). The successful bidder will be required to provide full Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of $2,000,000, with the ability to expand up to $3,000,000 (CSU General Conditions 3.04.).
