Red Deer County is seeking quotations for the 2026 Gravel Supply. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: the supply of Modified 4 Class 20 Crushed Gravel and the supply of Pit Run Gravel. The successful contractor must provide the specified types and quantities of gravel as outlined by the county and comply with specifications for aggregate production and stockpiling. Gravel materials must meet designated quality standards, and sieve analysis reports must be provided as evidence of material compliance. No existing gravel stockpiles from the listed sites will be accepted unless crushing is monitored for quality assurance by the County's consultant. Quotes are to be submitted via the bids&tenders platform and must include a Quote Security Bond (Bid Bond) of $20,000. The successful contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond of $50,000. All required information, including submission forms, anticipated start date, and bonding information, must be completed. Bidders must acknowledge all terms, conditions, and any addenda. Only submissions through the specified electronic platform will be accepted. The County reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all quotations, or accept the bid deemed most advantageous. The lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted. Various supply quantities and locations are required, and contracts may be awarded for individual items or sub-items at the County’s discretion. The gravel levy is included in the quoted bid price. Final payment will be made only for actual quantities supplied. All costs associated with the work, including labor, equipment, materials, and incidental requirements, must be included in the quoted prices.
