Sealed bids will be received for the Carey Elementary School Roofing Project and work will be awarded under one General Contract. All bids must be a lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany each bid, made payable to the Blaine County School District. Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the contract amount will be required within five days after receipt of the Agreement. Bid proposals will be accepted from contractors who, prior to the bid opening, hold current licenses as public works contractors in the State of Idaho. Each bidder shall identify their Public Works Contractors State License Number on the Bid Proposal Form. All work shall be performed under Title 54, Chapter 19, of the Idaho code governing Public Works Contracts. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for opening, or before award, unless the award is delayed for more than thirty days. Furnish and install all materials and equipment and provide all labor required and necessary to complete the work shown on the drawings and/or specified in all Sections of Division 26 and all other work and miscellaneous items, not specifically mentioned, but reasonably inferred for a complete installation, including all accessories required for testing the system. It is the intent of the drawings and specifications that all systems be complete and ready for operation.
