Renovation of a municipal facility in Hundred, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work includes replacement of the shingled roof on the Town Officials' Office (Former American Legion) building, located at 14 Beech Street, Hundred, WV 26575, with a new metal roof. The scope also covers replacement of damaged sheeting and outer fascia boards with new materials as needed. Installation of new fascia, drip edges, gutters, and downspouts is required. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 5% of the bid amount or by certified check or cashier's check in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. If bids are 10% over the estimated project cost, the owner will have the option to rebid the project. The Work will be substantially completed within 60 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 2.03 of the General Conditions and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 70 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Question Deadline January 29th, 2026, by the end of business day All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
