Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes the installation of three (3) flagpoles and up lighting within the Temple Avenue/I-95 Roundabout. The construction limits are the roundabout at the Temple Avenue/I-95 interchange and the south side of Temple Avenue. The work consists of installing two (2) flagpoles at 24 feet high, one (1) flagpole at 30 feet high, up lighting for each flagpole, and the necessary electrical conduit. Questions relating to the Nature of Services/Project Plans and Specifications and/or additional information should be directed to Mr. Matthew Parker, Project Coordinator, at (804) 524-8708, or via email at parkerma@colonialheightsva.gov. The contract has sixty (60) calendar days to complete the work after the notice to proceed. For each day that any work remains uncompleted after the contract time specified above, the City will access liquidated damages against the contractor at the rate of three hundred and fifty dollars ($350) for each and every calendar day that the work remains uncompleted.
