This project involves concrete repairs to including but not limited to, structural concrete repairs and caulk sealant installation to balconies at the Centre City Parking Garage in the City of Butler. Any and all mobilization, General Condition requirements, dust control, pedestrian and vehicular traffic control, notifications, temporary facilities, temporarily relocating electrical items, safety equipment, site photography, project management, and restoration of disturbed areas shall be considered incidental to this Contract. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted upon the forms within the specifications. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Bids accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the City of Butler in an amount equal to ten in percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. The City of Butler reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. Question Deadline 01/15/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
