Type: Packaged, air-cooled industrial glycol chiller for winery service. 3. Nominal Capacity: o Minimum 120,000 BTU/hr (10 tons) at standard rating conditions. o Minimum 96,000 BTU/hr (8 tons) at 28F leaving glycol, 30-35% propylene glycol, and 90-95F ambient (vendor must provide performance data at these conditions). 4. Location: Outdoor pad adjacent to cellar; unit must be weatherproof and outdoor-rated. 5. Refrigerant: R-410A or equivalent code-compliant refrigerant suitable for low-temperature glycol service. B. Operating Conditions 1. Leaving Fluid Temperature Range: o Adjustable temperature range appropriate for normal winery operations, including coldsoak, fermentation temperature control, and cold stabilization (typically 20-70F adjustable range, vendor to specify). 2. Ambient Temperature Range: o Operating capability of 0F to 100F ambient (or wider), with no loss of rated capacity at 90-95F. 3. Glycol Solution: o Compatible with 30-35% propylene glycol in water. Vendor to recommend concentration and freeze protection. C. Electrical & Controls 1. Power Supply: o 208/230V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. o Vendor to state MCA and MOCP. 2. Control Panel: o UL/ETL listed panel with integrated disconnect and standard safeties. o Local digital temperature control at the chiller; no remote interface required. o Alarms for high/low temperature, flow faults, refrigerant pressure, and compressor protection. D. Hydronic (Glycol) Circuit 1. Reservoir: o Integrated insulated glycol reservoir, >=40 gallons usable volume. o Stainless or heavy-duty polymer with a sealable (but accessible) lid and visible level indication. 2. Pump: o Integrated process pump sized for approximately >=40 GPM at 25-30 psi to match the existing system. o Non-ferrous wetted components. 3. Connections & Piping: o Supply/return connections sized for a 10-ton chiller (>=1.25" NPT or equivalent). o Existing cellar glycol piping layout is already installed. o Vendor must confirm compatibility with WWCC's existing glycol stubs and supply any adapter fittings as needed. 4. Glycol Fill: o System must include fill and air-bleed provisions. o WWCC will provide glycol and perform final fill; vendor to support startup and purge. E. F. Controls & Integration o Chiller will supply a stable glycol temperature; individual tank control is already in place at WWCC via existing solenoids/thermostats. o No building automation integration required beyond basic alarm indication at the unit. G. Compliance & Warranty o UL or ETL listed complete package and control panel. o Minimum 1-year parts & labor warranty and 5-year compressor parts warranty. o Vendor to provide manuals, electrical diagrams, and startup documentation. 12/31/25 - 5:00 pm The window for asking questions about the RFQ/RFP closes-all answers to questions submitted will be emailed to bidders
