This Invitational Request for Tender (the "IRFT") is an invitation by the Corporation of Norfolk County ("Norfolk County") to pre-qualified Bidders under contract through the related RFPQ EIS-ENG-24-84 to submit bids for the rehabilitation of the Veterans Memorial Bridge, as further described in Section A of the IRFT Particulars (Appendix C) (the "Deliverables"). The work involves the rehabilitation of the Veterans Memorial Bridge (Structure No. 000006) and associated road construction. The scope includes, but is not limited to: supply and installation of bonds, insurance, and permits; mobilization and demobilization; design and implementation of traffic control in multiple stages; installation of protections, fencing, and signage to protect heritage areas; coordination and protection for all utilities; environmental and species-at-risk mitigation; bird nesting prevention; clearing and grubbing of the work area; removal, protection, storage, and reinstallation of existing signage; and disposal of excess soils in accordance with regulations. The project also covers supply and installation of bridges, lighting, electrical, street restoration, conduits, cables, lighting pedestals, spun concrete poles, accent light fixtures, grounding systems, and required restoration of curbs, sidewalks, pavement, and grassed areas affected by the work.
