Reference Number 0000408534 Bid Intent Not Available GJHA is seeking Proposals from qualified Proposers to complete roofing assessment and provide recommendation for repair or replacement, and costs for such, for its fifteen (15) buildings at Nellie Bechtel Apartments. Proposer would be expected to evaluate the roofs, roof decks, flashing/duct for around the swamp coolers, and plumbing vent piping for roof jacks. GJHA is requesting Proposer to evaluate the life span remaining of the roofs and recommend any possible repairs that can be done to extend life of roof and/or for Proposer to provide a labor and materials cost for 30-year and 50-year shingles if needed. Subject to pricing, GJHA may need to phase the project over the next 3-5 years. At the time that the Proposal is submitted, Proposer will not know if a building would need repairs to the roof deck, flashing/duct for swamp coolers, and plumbing vent piping for roof jacks. Therefore, GJHA is asking Proposer to provide a cost per service per building that these repairs would cost if repairs or replacements are needed. Selected Proposer would have to submit to Project Manager notice of need for such repairs per building including what specific repairs are needed prior to execution of work as described in this RFP.
