Reference Number 0000408771 The work site is located on CR111 and has a two span simply supported bridge with a prefabricated Inverset superstructure carrying the roadway over Hannacrois Creek approximately 0.75 miles from the intersection of CR111 and Rt143 in Coeymans, NY. The intent of these specifications is to furnish information to responsible bidders for the purpose of obtaining bids for a bridge replacement project that removes the existing two span bridge and installs a new two span continuous structure consisting of cast-in-place concrete deck supported on composite steel girders on the existing horizontal alignment. The vertical alignment is to be raised approximately 1'-6" to accommodate an increased superstructure depth. A tie into the established alignment is to occur within 160 ft of the respective bridge edge as requested by Albany County Department of Public Works. This is a LUMP SUM BID. Each proposal must be made on an official Bid Form and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid as security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond each in the full amount of the contract price.
