Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Sikeston, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project is for the construction of new wooden park pavilions at Clayton Park, including all site improvements such as wood framing, roofing, construction of concrete slab foundation, grading as needed, and some minor electrical work as specified in the site plans and other required improvements at the designated locations. Prevailing wages are waived for the project if the bid is under $75,000. For bids over $75,000, not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations must be paid. The City of Sikeston will award the contract to the proposal that best meets its interests and requirements, reserving the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities or deficiencies with documented reason. Negotiation is not allowed, and the lowest responsible, responsive bidder will be chosen. All unsuccessful bidders will be notified. The project is tax exempt, and a tax exemption letter will be provided to the successful bidder upon request. Bidders must submit one hard copy of the proposal, addressed as specified.
