Description

Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Sikeston, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.

The project generally includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of pumping equipment, piping, fittings, valves, controls, generator, concrete, automatic transfer switch (ATS), demolition of existing equipment, and all sitework. Bids shall be on lump sum prices. One contract will be awarded for all work. Bidders should note the requirements for OSHA training of workmen and the requirements prohibiting the employment of unauthorized aliens, including the submission of an Affidavit of Work Authorization with their bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Printed and digital copies of the bidding documents may be obtained from the office of the Engineer for a non-refundable charge, and partial sets will not be available. Neither the Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
