Sealed bids are being received for Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete Surface Course for the year 2026. Specifications for the work may be picked up in the City Manager's Office at the Hope City Hall, 206 W. Avenue A, Hope, Arkansas. Bids must be submitted in an envelope marked: SEALED BID-2026 HOT MIX ASPHALT CONCRETE SURFACE COURSE. The City of Hope reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The work performed under this item shall consist of placing and asphalt hot mix surface course on a completed and accepted base course. The thickness of the asphalt surface course shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications, or as directed by the engineer. The texture of this surface course shall be uniform and all hand work required at apertures, curbs, turnouts, etc., shall be neat and blend in with the overall texture. The deviation from the prescribed sections ah shown on the plans or as directed by the engineer shall not be more that inch in any directions when tested with a 10 foot straight edge.
