The project is the 2025-2026 Locust Street Street Improvements Project for the City of Erlanger, KY. The scope includes all material, labor, equipment, and installation required to complete all element(s) of the street improvements. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed bids accompanied by a cashiers check or bid bond of not less than five percent of the aggregate bid amount, made payable to the City of Erlanger. The successful bidder must execute and provide construction contract security equal to one hundred percent of the bid. All bids must be made on the required Bid Form, with two completed copies required. Contractors must purchase bid documents from Viox & Viox, Inc. to qualify as registered bidders, and no substitution of contractors is permitted without a change of registration. Digital or hard copies of specifications may be ordered, and if hard copies are requested, they must be paid for in advance and can be mailed or picked up. The City will evaluate bids in accordance with resident bidder preferences pursuant to KRS 45A.490-494 and reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
