The City of Burlington is seeking a contractor to construct an interior receptionist space in the lobby at One North Avenue in Burlington Vermont. To be selected, a proposer must meet minimum legal qualifications to perform the work. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal that is nonresponsive in any manner to this Request for Price Quotations or to waive any and all irregularities. The City reserves the right to provide proposers who do not provide complete and adequate insurance information an opportunity to cure prior to making an award. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal that was not timely. Contractor parking and staging areas must be coordinated with the City. All products and finishes must be approved by the City. The City will file for any necessary zoning and building permits, while the selected contractor will be responsible for any trade permits. Final invoicing will not be paid until all permits are closed by the contractor. The contractor will need to submit any necessary information for fingerprint checks for all working in the building, to be done by the Burlington Police Department at no cost to the contractor. The project consists of construction of a Level 3 Ballistic rated Reception Kiosk within the existing Lobby, and associated interior renovations, at the Public Entrance to the Burlington Police Station.
