Summary An existing well is at the end of its service life and must be replaced. The existing well has the following characteristics: Well Diameter - 24" x 18" Well Depth - 45 feet Well screen - 18" pipe size 10 feet Pump - Goulds 7THC 3 stage pump 650 @150 and 40 HP Centri Pro Motor Original capacity 30 GPM/ft @ 650 GPM The new well will require a new pitless adapter Scope of Work The scope of work includes siting and installing the new well, including any test wells and/or observation wells necessary to confirm optimal location of the new well. The new well must be installed within 50 feet of the old well, but should be installed as close as possible while achieving equivalent or better performance. Proposals shall address all project tasks from beginning to end, including site preparation (e.g. excavation), well installation, commissioning, and site finishing. The Department prefers that site preparation and finishing be included in all proposals but these items are not mandatory. Proposals shall address all necessary hardware procurement (e.g. pitless adapter) and specify whether the hardware procurement is included in the bidder's scope of work.
