A bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the maximum contract price must be submitted with the sealed proposal as guarantee that the Respondent will not withdraw its proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the proposal opening, and if the Respondent's proposal is accepted, the successful Respondent will execute and deliver all contractual documents and the required bonds (e.g., payment bond and performance bond) within fourteen (14) days after notice of award and the delivery of the contract to successful Respondent. The City of Goshen reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, delete any portions thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any proposal received, and to award a contract, consistent with Indiana law, to the responsible and responsive Respondent submitting the lowest proposal. A sealed proposal may be mailed or otherwise delivered to the Goshen Board of Public Works and Safety, c/o Clerk Treasurer's Office, 202 South Fifth Street, Goshen, IN 46528, provided the proposal is received by 3:45 p.m. on the Bid Day (Thursday, February 12, 2026.)
