**As of March 18th, this project has been awarded to Labella for $100,000.** The City of Lockport is seeking proposals from qualified agencies, businesses, or organizations to develop a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP). The selected consultant will delineate the City's Waterfront Revitalization Area, assess natural and cultural resources, gather public input on issues affecting the WRA, review local laws and regulations, and assist in drafting new or amended laws to support recommended land and water uses and projects as identified in the LWRP. The consultant will work closely with a Waterfront Advisory Committee appointed by the City, which will provide relevant information, review materials, and support public outreach. The project's budget shall not exceed $100,000, with a minimum of $25,500 allocated to services provided by M/WBE certified firms participating in the project. A visit to the City and its waterfront prior to proposal submission is recommended and may be scheduled with the City's Director of Planning & Development.
