The City of Lakewood is seeking qualified firms to provide electrical improvements or repairs within the public right-of-way at various locations in the City of Lakewood. Work includes installation or removal and replacement of damaged streetlights, lineman repair of streetlights, traffic signal electrical repairs, school zone light installation and repair, and all other necessary work to complete task order projects as specified and shown in the Contract Provisions. Bidders shall be qualified for the type of work proposed. Each proposal must be completed according to the Contract Provisions and submitted on the provided forms, in the manner stated in the advertisement and Bid Documents. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the proposal due date and time, project name, bidder's name, and address. The City will publicly open and read aloud the proposals after the stated time and date. The City reserves the right to waive informalities, accept the lowest responsible bid, reject any or all bids, republish, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be performed differently if it serves the best interest of the City.
