Renovation of an educational facility in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Tuckpointing Work at Washington Junior High School in Joliet, Illinois for Joliet Public Schools District 86. Bids will be received on General Contract Work, including all trades. The work is to be performed in accordance with proposed Contract Documents as prepared by the specified architects. Bidders are required to obtain bidding documents by completing a Registered Plan Holder Record form and a Bidding Documents License Agreement. Registered plan holders will receive project addenda, clarifications, and other information during the bidding period. Bidders must satisfactorily complete the Bidder Responsibility process as described in Section 01 00 00 - Bidder Responsibility Criteria by providing the required documents. In case of a joint venture or partnership, each party must independently meet the specified requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Joliet Public Schools District 86. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract are required from the successful bidder. The contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
