Walker Excavating Co., Inc. is seeking disadvantaged businesses for subcontracting opportunities for the City of Monmouth, IL Lead Service Line Replacement, Phase 2 Project. Subcontracting areas include plumbing, electrical, trucking, concrete flatwork removal and replacement, asphalt pavement removal and replacement, brick pavement removal and replacement, seed/straw restoration, traffic control, and all material supplies. All disadvantaged businesses should contact Jamie Richardson in writing (certified letter, return receipt requested) to discuss subcontract opportunities. All negotiations must be completed prior to the bid opening date. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria, listed in order of importance: 1) Price 2) Subcontractors qualification and experience in the area of work they are submitting a proposal for.
