Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Granite Falls, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
Furnish and deliver all materials and perform all work in accordance with the contract, plans, and approved Department of Transportation "Standard Specifications for Construction, 2025 Edition," except as stated otherwise in the special provisions, for State Aid Project No.: SAP 087-611-012. The location is on CSAH 11 (300th St.), 0.8 miles south of Jct. CSAH 31, 4.8 miles south of St. Leo. The type of work required is to construct Bridge 87J74 (replacing Bridge 87560). Start date is variable, with completion required on or before June 30, 2027, and substantial completion on or before Friday, November 13, 2026. Submit bids in accordance with MnDOT 1206 through 1210 except as stated otherwise in the Special Provisions. Instructions to bidders include using the QuestCDN online platform for bid submission, downloading all addenda, submitting a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, and following the guidelines for proposal forms and responsible contractor verification. The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their judgment, the interests of the County will be better served.
