The Project consists of one prime Contract bid as a Base Bid and generally consists of the following: traffic control; bypass pumping, cleaning & televising the existing 36-inch sanitary sewer, 36-inch CIPP liner, testing & sealing lateral connections; and any necessary erosion control to complete the work. All Contractors shall comply with the "Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Pleasant Prairie" requiring pre-qualification of Contractors prior to performing work on this Contract. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening date/time Approved pre-qualifications will be posted prior to bid opening The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 61.55, 66.0901, and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Acceptable Bid Security shall be Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount equal to the Contract Price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 50 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents Question Deadline 01/23/2026
