Perform work at the Planetarium Building #13 in accordance with the construction drawings and specifications titled Ocean County College - Planetarium Roof Replacement issued by Clarke Caton Hintz Architects dated 12/1/2025. The list of items below is meant to point out the major work items for this project. However, this list is not all-inclusive of all required work. Please refer to the construction documents included in this Request for Bid for the work. - Issue submittals for approval by Architect and Owner. - Issue drawings for building permits with Toms River Township. Obtain building permits. - Remove and dispose existing roof system completely, included but not limited to, roof drains, curbing, blocking, flashing, fascia, and coping. - Install new KEE membrane roofing system as per drawings and specifications. - Install new roof vents, curbing, drains, flashing, fascia, coping and blocking. - Alternate #1 - furnish and install a new wall mounted roof access ladder with handrails over the roof and security doors at the base. - Protect site from surrounding building, sidewalks and pedestrian walkways. Bids will be received for "Planetarium Dome Roof Replacement (GC)" reference BID 25-26 B-1719. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, and N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.44 (LFN 2024-04). Bidders must also comply with P.L. 1977, c. 33 (Stockholder or Partnership Disclosure Requirement) and P.L. 2004, c. 57 (Business Registration provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44).
