The work of this contract generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: removal and replacement of the entire recreation building hvac system (all 4 existing zones) in accordance with contract plans inclusive of all work required to install new gas piping, ventilation ducts, condensers, etc; upgrading of electrical service needed to accommodate new system; construction of new roofing and wall vents as needed; installation of protective bollards for air conditioning condensers installed at grade; construction of new interior stairs; all building and exterior site restoration; and all other work necessary and incidental thereto. The printing costs not refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a bid bond or certified check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each contract bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: borough of south toms river and shall be without condition or qualification.
