Sealed bids will be solicited for gasoline, motor oil, fuel oil, diesel oil, and multi-purpose grease for one year. Crushed stone of various sizes must meet Pennsylvania Department of Transportation specifications. Pre-mixed bituminous stockpile patching material, superpave bituminous concrete base course (BCBC), and superpave mixture are required, all according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation specifications. Bulk rock salt, calcium chloride in fifty pound bags, and solar salt are also included. Chemicals such as liquid chlorine (in one hundred fifty pound cylinders and one ton containers), liquid ferrous sulphate, hydrofluosilicic acid, liquid alum in 4,000 gallon loads, sulphur dioxide, liquid polyaluminum chloride (DELPAC® 2000 and 3030), sodium permanganate (40%) in 237 pound totes, caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite (12%), and Earthtec® Liquid Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate are required. Road line painting, double yellow 4-inch wide lines, and white 4-inch wide lines are specified. Waterborne traffic paint in yellow, white, and blue five gallon pails is included. Street milling services are also required. Each item is bid separately, with quantities on the bid form for the purpose of obtaining unit prices. The public bodies are not penalized if actual use varies from the quantities on the bid sheets.
