Sealed bids are invited for the construction of an Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS)-III P at Claremont Municipal Airport. The project involves the installation of an FAA weather observation system and must be completed within a 28-day performance period. Work is funded by a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant with participation by the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation and the City of Claremont, and improvements shall meet the requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation, the FAA, the NHDOT and the City of Claremont. To be eligible to bid, interested bidders must register by email to gain access to the project OneDrive site where contract documents and addenda will be posted. All requests for information must be submitted via email. Bidders are strongly recommended to attend a pre-bid conference at the airport. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the project, and late submissions will not be accepted. Bidders must comply with Federal Aviation Regulation Part 152 Subpart E and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements including Buy American Preferences, Civil Rights - Title VI Assurances, Davis-Bacon Act, Debarment and Suspension, Foreign Trade Restriction, Lobbying Federal Employees, Recovered Materials, and Executive Order 11246. Wages must comply with the latest U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination for Sullivan County. Additional federal requirements and certifications for Trade Restriction and Unmanned Aircraft Systems also apply. Nondiscrimination and civil rights requirements are enforced throughout the bid and project process. The Owner encourages participation by all qualified firms regardless of business size or ownership. The project includes the installation of an FAA weather observation system. The performance period for this work will be 28 calendar days. Question Deadline 01/23/2026 A Bidder who discovers discrepancies or omissions with the project bid documents shall immediately notify the Owner's Engineer of the matter. A bidder that has doubt as to the true meaning of a project requirement may submit to the Owner's Engineer a written request for interpretation no later than 7 days prior to bid opening. Any interpretation of the project bid documents by the Owner's Engineer will be by written addendum issued by the Owner.
