***Abey Drive Project - Resolution on tonight's meeting to reject bids and redesign the scope of the project. **** **As of April 01, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 6th, 2026.** Work under these contracts shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required to complete the Improvements to Abey Drive, Mallard Drive, and Queens Lane. The project includes the rehabilitation of the existing roadways of Abey Drive (between Mallard Drive and East Delaware Avenue), Mallard Drive and Queens Lane. Rehabilitation will consist of adjusting roadway grades and cross slopes; replacing deteriorated curbing, driveway aprons, curb ramps, and sidewalks as needed; and installing new storm sewer structures. All bids must be accompanied by a copy of the bidder's Business Registration Certificate and bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the amount of the bid but not to exceed $20,000.00. Each bid must also be accompanied by a Consent of Surety. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond. Bidders must comply with statutory requirements including Prevailing Wage, Affirmative Action, Disclosure of Interests, and Business Registration of Public Contractors. Each proposal or bid must be submitted in accordance with the terms of the specifications and be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the project name and the name and address of the bidder. The Borough of Pennington reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or immaterial differences as deemed in the public interest. As per Addenda 1, Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project has been rescheduled and will be held in person at 10:00 AM prevailing local time on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Pennington Borough Hall.
