Bids are requested for Partial Roof Replacement at Timberlane Middle School, including all work incidental to this project. Bidders must be classified as of the bid opening date in the specified disciplines (DPMC: C009 Prime Contractor with C066, C032, C047 Subcontractors or C066 Prime Contractor with C009, C032, C047 Subcontractors). Proposals must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope for each contract, clearly marked with the contract title and/or bid number. Each proposal must include a bid bond or certified cashier's check payable to the Owner for 10% of the bid amount (not to exceed $20,000), and a Certificate of Consent of Surety obligating the surety company to provide statutory performance and payment bonds for the full contract amount. Bidders and their subcontractors must hold a valid "Notice of Classification" from the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction if bids exceed $20,000. Additional requirements include compliance with prevailing wage laws, New Jersey affirmative action statutes, workforce reporting, public works contractor registration, and providing appropriate business registration certificates.
