Renovation of an educational facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
QA date :- 02/04/2026 at 10AM The Board reserves all rights to extend or postpone the due date/bid opening without further advertisement. Late bids will be rejected. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of two phases that will occur over two separate summer breaks as follows: 1. Phase 1 (Beginning with notice to proceed March 2026): a. Provide submittals and procure all long lead time equipment including: 1) Air cooled chiller 2) Boilers 3) Pumps 4) Electrical gear 5) Other long lead time itemsSet a new air cooled chiller in the building courtyard when it is delivered. c. Store all other major equipment off site at the contractor's storage location. All storage and transportation of equipment shall be included in the contractor's bid. 2. Phase 2 (IPS Summer break of 2027): a. Replacement of existing ground source heat pump system in its entirety. b. Replacement of existing water source heat pumps with new hydronic 4-pipe blower coil units. c. Replacement of exiting water source energy recovery units with new energy recovery units. d. Removal of all ground source piping. e. Removal and replacement of existing boiler system and mechanical room piping with a new boiler plant, chiller plant, pumps and controls. f. Installation of new 4-pipe system throughout the building. g. Replacement of all existing air handling units with new 4-pipe air handling units. h. Replacement of all building management controls throughout the building and controls interface. i. Electrical power systems upgrades in support of the mechanical renovations.
