Furnishing all labor, services, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary for the Stout Field Elementary and Garden City Elementary Roofing and Exterior Wall Improvement Projects. All work for the complete construction of the Project shall be performed under one or more prime contracts with the Owner. Instructions to bidders include: - Submit sealed bids using forms provided in the project manual, properly executed in accordance with the current edition of IN SBOA Form 96. - Bid forms must include a statement of experience, proposed plans for performing the work, available equipment, non-collusion affidavit, and financial statement as required by IN SBOA Form 96. - Include a satisfactory Bid Bond or certified check pursuant to Ind. Code 36-1-12-4.5, in an amount not less than 5% of the Bidder's total contract price, payable to MSD of Wayne Township. - Wage rates do not apply to this project. - Compliance with all applicable laws, including Ind. Code 5-16-13 et seq., and requirements found in applicable public works and contract statutes, is mandatory. - Bidding documents may be obtained from Eastern Engineering Supply, Inc. at the contractor's expense, and are non-refundable. - Prior to contract approval and execution, the successful bidder shall furnish a Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, effective for one year after the Owner's acceptance of the work and final settlement. - The Owner reserves the right to hold bids for up to 60 days from the date of bid opening and may reject any and all bids or waive irregularities in the bidding procedure. - A mandatory pre-bid meeting for review of the project, specifications, and site tour will be held, and all prospective bidders are required to attend.
