Late bids will be rejected. Scope of Work Update the central heating and cooling systems boilers, chillers, pumping and controls: Chillers: o Remove (2) existing chillers with remote evaporator (112 ton main unit, 25 ton office area unit) o Install (1) new 160 ton air cooled chiller with remote evaporator, new chilled water pumps and new controls for the chiller and pumps. o Install refrigerant monitor and refrigerant exhaust system. o New electrical power connection to larger chiller. o Replace existing (4) chilled water pumps with (2) new pumps with VFDs. Connect the piping together so that the admin and rest of the building are fed from one system. Boilers: o Remove (2) Burnham 4200MBH output 5200MBH input atmospheric boilers. o Install (3) new 2000MBH condensing style boilers, new flues and combustion intakes and controls. o Reconnect natural gas. o Install (2) new hot water distribution pumps with VFDs. o Replace piping and isolation valves to each branch supply and return. Additional Scope: o The building does not have a building backflow preventer. This will be added to the project scope and budget. This project will be bid as an Indiana Public Works Project in accordance with IC 36-1-12.
