Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Highland, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of February 4, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on February 17, 2026. The project includes removal of existing surface to install five Pickleball courts and a parking lot at Spindler Park. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The project shall be completed before no later than April 31st, 2026.
