Site work for a water / sewer project in Highland, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of approximately 9,250 linear feet of 6" PVC water main, including directional boring water mains, valve interconnect, service connections, hydrant, valves, and miscellaneous water main appurtenances. Special attention must be given to and compliance maintained with project insurance and bonding requirements. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Bids from partnerships or joint ventures will not be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of at least five percent of the amount bid, payable to the City of Highland. The project is classified as a "Public Works Construction" Project under the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130, and all bidders must account for and be subject to the prevailing wage rates for Madison County, Illinois.
