Sealed electronic bids are requested for the construction of the Greenbelt Gravity Sewer Upgrade. Bidders are required to submit the Bid Form, Bid security, Trench Safety Act certification, conflict of interest disclosure, and other documents as specified in the bid package through the e-Procurement Portal. Physical bid securities, if applicable, must be delivered to the Purchasing Director prior to the bid submission deadline. Bid packages and related documents can be obtained electronically through the City of Niceville Procurement Services website. All questions must be directed in writing to the Purchasing Director; questions submitted to other city personnel will result in disqualification. No late bids will be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive non-substantial irregularities when it is in the city's best interest. The last day for questions will be January 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m The Work includes the removal and disposal of approximately 1,479 linear feet of existing 8- inch clay gravity sewer and six existing manholes; modification of two existing manholes; installation of approximately 1,479 linear feet of new PVC gravity sewer (ASTM D3034 SDR 35 and AWWA C900 DR18), seven new precast concrete manholes, and reconnection of approximately 20 sewer service laterals. The Work also includes provision of bypass pumping, trench excavation, bedding, backfill, and compaction; pavement and curb removal and replacement; clearing, grubbing, and final site restoration with sod or seed; installation and maintenance of erosion and sedimentation control measures; and performance of all required testing. All Work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining traffic control, protecting utilities, and minimizing environmental impacts.
