Jefferson Ave., Otisville, MI 48463; 1395 East Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris, MI 48458; 1467 W. Judd Rd., Flint, MI 48507. SCOPE OF WORK The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC), Community Development Program, carries out roof replacements at single-family homeowner occupied properties in various locations around Genesee County. GCMPC is requesting bids to complete five (5) roof replacements on five (5) individual properties to bring the standards up to Section 8 Housing Quality Standards and meet necessary Michigan residential code and rehabilitation compliance. All work will be funded by HUD or MSHDA and at completion must meet state and local codes. The Genesee County Roof Revitalization Program was developed to assist eligible Genesee County residents replace failing roof systems on owner-occupied single-family residential homes. Included in the repairs are replacement of shingles, and when necessary, soffits, fascia, and gutters. Bid opportunities will be released in groups of five (5) roof replacement projects. The contractor awarded the grouping of projects will be required to sign a construction work contract with Genesee County that encompasses each of the five (5) roof projects.
