Renovation of a mixed-use development in Dodge City, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and industrial development.
Proposals are requested for the purchase, delivery, and installation of roofing systems at the Civic Center, Food Service Center, and Transportation Building. The scope includes roof systems installation (including wall, curb, and penetration flashing), overlay work, removal and replacement of panels, installation of insulated metal panels, edge metals, copings, flashings, gutters, downspouts, gravel stops, ladders, custom drains, and roof hatches. All work must comply with specified material and fastening requirements, provide Contractor’s 2-year Workmanship Warranty and Manufacturer’s 20-year Total System Warranty. No subcontracted roof and metal installers are permitted. Payment and performance bonds are required. Installer is responsible for compliance with all codes and for repairs to any damages done. Preventive measures must be taken to limit disturbance, and bidders are encouraged to visit the site. After installation, a walk-through for operation and preventative maintenance is mandatory. Proposals must include a complete scope of work, materials description, cost breakdown, proof of insurance, warranties, and references. DCS reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and may request interviews. Evaluation will be based on rubric scoring and best value, not just price.
