Site work for a road / highway in Dodge City, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bids are being solicited for roadway paint striping for the Ford County Road & Bridge Division. The project involves striping 28 miles of roadway with yellow center lines, including no passing stripes, and white edge stripes to create a 12-foot travel lane. Approximately 700 gallons of yellow paint and 1,400 gallons of white paint are estimated for use. Application requires no less than 7 pounds and no more than 8 pounds of glass beads per gallon of paint. Paint and glass beads used must meet or exceed Kansas specifications, and pavement markings must conform to the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Part III. Bidders must include in their bids the price per gallon of paint, price per mile of painted roadway, and total price for the entire 28-mile project. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Ford County Clerk’s Office by the specified deadline, with the envelope labeled as directed. Ford County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
