Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Yale, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The FVRD is developing a new community park in Yale, BC. The property is +/- 0.077 ha/767.2m2. Perimeter fencing is required on three sides of the property, with one 48-inch pedestrian gate located on the northeast side. The new fence will tie into an existing metal picket fence on the west side. Refer to Schedule B for the proposed fence layout and reference photos. The specifications are as follows: Supply and install approximately 251 feet of 5-foot-high black ornamental metal picket fence. The posts must be 2 feet deep secured with concrete. At the base, the fence shall be installed at finished grade, with no excessive gaps. The new fence section must tie in seamlessly to the existing fence on the west side. Install one 48-inch-wide walk gate of matching style at approximately the 130-foot mark. The gate must include a durable, lockable latch. Note: The gate must be quoted on a separate line in Schedule A (Quotation), as the FVRD may opt for a 4-foot opening instead of a gate All work must be completed no later than February 27, 2026.
