Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bowling Green, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and detention facility.

The work consists of removing and replacing rooftop units (RTUs) throughout the Wood County buildings located at the Gypsy Lane Complex. This includes providing a crane for various locations, installing a mini split at the JRC building, disconnecting and salvaging old RTU units, installing new RTU units, testing and balancing, and disconnecting and reconnecting controls for each unit. Replacement of RTUs must be scheduled to ensure each building has limited downtime or vacancy time. Some minor duct repair or replacement/coordination may also be required. Additionally, two valves in the jail mechanical system will need to be replaced. Bidders are instructed that all bids must be signed and submitted on copies or originals of the blanks bound in the contract documents. Prices must be stated in the blanks provided and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Multi Building Mechanical Systems Upgrade Project" and addressed to the specified location. Bidders must submit a bid guaranty (either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid amount). If awarded, a Contract Bond (100% payment and performance bond) is required. Bidders must also submit an affidavit regarding delinquent personal property taxes and declare compliance with court-ordered child support payments. No substitutions are allowed unless written approval is obtained prior to the bid due date. Late bids or those lacking a proper bid bond or check will not be considered. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities that do not affect competitive bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid for sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
