Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Madison, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
As of April 1, 2026, project is awarded to the following Contractors: 1. DeRita and Sons Construction Company $2,906,460.50 2. VHB $291,700 The work includes pavement reclamation, vertical geometry improvements, roadway widening, storm drainage improvements, new curbing, new sidewalks, and tree removal. This is a general description and is not a complete listing of the work to be performed. Interested persons may examine the bidding documents at the specified office or obtain them in PDF format from the provided websites. Bids will be received for a single prime contract as indicated in the Bid Form. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for all prospective bidders. A bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required, along with a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price, in the prescribed forms.
