The project intent is to upgrade the Baseball Field from a natural grass field to a synthetic playing surface, including all sitework and drainage necessary to facilitate the transition. Ancillary items such as Earthwork, hauling, fencing, hardscaping, and branded elements are also included features that will lead to a functional and appealing athletic facility. This project also includes an add/alternate for the replacement of the existing synthetic turf playing surface of the Green Hill Softball Field (same campus as the Baseball Field), which has reached the end of its useful life. This portion of the work, if accepted, would be executed with the work at the Baseball Field. The Town of Madison (hereinafter "Town") and Madison Public Schools (hereinafter "MPS") is seeking qualified contractor bids for Renovations to the Baseball Field at Daniel Hand High School, 286 Green Hill Road, Madison CT 06443. Work generally includes Synthetic turf replacement and conversion of an existing natural turf baseball field to synthetic turf.
