2026 Streets Improvements Phase II A certified check, bank draft, or a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. This work includes the following: Street improvements on multiple streets throughout the city. Improvements include asphalt overlays and full depth reclamation/reconstruction including asphalt pavement. Associated improvements include minor grading, storm sewer improvements and other related items shown on the plans. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of bid openings. All bidders must agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the OWNER for any damage or claim brought by any bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the OWNER because of such rejections, and the filing of any bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the bidder to these conditions. Question Deadline 01/30/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing. Replies will be issued by ADDENDA mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the bidding documents. Questions received less than 5 days prior to the date for opening of BIDS will not be answered.
