The services required under this contract consist of the design and construction services for a perimeter access road and a new waste disposal cell (Cell 36) at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility. The scope includes: project management; geotechnical investigation to assess subsurface conditions and provide recommendations for road and cell design; advancing the preliminary design for Cell 36 to maximize waste capacity, operational efficiency, and minimize costs and leachate generation; preparing design drawings and specifications for leachate collection system expansion using tire derived aggregate; design and tender of a perimeter access road and waste disposal cell with associated infrastructure; administration of construction contracts with specified resident and non-resident services; post construction services including reporting, record drawings, and warranty inspections. Consultants are to ensure compliance with the City's Project Management Manual, Environment Act License, and CAD/GIS standards, and provide recommendations where procedures do not align with good industry practice.
