The work includes the installation of a bioretention basin, native landscaping, and schoolyard equipment at Milwaukee College Prep's Lloyd St Campus, located at 1228 W Lloyd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53205. The scope encompasses all site and construction activities necessary to complete the work as indicated and in compliance with the contract documents. This includes, but is not limited to, trenching and backfill (with provisions for excavation width, safety, backfill materials, utility identification, compaction, and testing), flexible paving (involving aggregate base course and asphalt concrete pavement), and associated quality assurance, delivery, storage, and handling. Bidders are required to comply with Small, Veteran, Women, and Minority Business Enterprises (SWMBE) requirements, with a minimum goal of 30% SWMBE participation. Bidders must submit bid security and other required documentation with their bid, demonstrate good faith efforts for SWMBE inclusion, and use the designated electronic platform for bid submission.
