The Work includes asphalt crackfilling at various locations throughout the City as shown in the exhibits. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to perform all work shown on the drawings and described in the specifications for Project 26-13 Crackfilling. The project includes an estimated 55,000 lbs of asphalt crackfilling. Construction activities must maintain access to businesses and residences throughout the project. Payment is based on the weight difference from certified scale tickets, with material and boiler weights taken at the beginning and end of each workday. The Contractor is responsible for protection and safekeeping of materials and products stored on or off the premises and must move any stored materials or products that interfere with operations of the Owner or other contractors. The project must be completed by Friday, August 21, 2026. All work shall be in accordance with the contract documents, including the project specifications and exhibits, the City of De Pere 2025 Construction Specifications, and referenced Wisconsin Department of Transportation standards. The Contractor must warrant that all work will not be defective for at least one year after completion, and must correct or replace defective work as instructed by the City. Instructions to bidders include: bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN’s vBid platform; a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid is required; bidders must pre-qualify by submitting proof of responsibility to the Director of Public Works; unit price bids are required; and bidders must submit with the bid a list of all proposed subcontractors, suppliers, or other entities for portions of the work requiring such identification, accompanied by an experience statement and evidence of qualifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed most favorable. See the bidding documents for further details.
